Dear72 was founded by Johnny Shin in 2014 at Champaign Urbana, where he graduated from University. In Korea, skincare and wellness is a huge part of the culture, and the research behind the products are very advanced because of the competition in the industry. There is a large Korean population on campus, so Johnny saw an opportunity to provide familiar products for the Korean community and make them more accessible in the USA.
Shin has since moved Dear72 to Chicago, home to one of the largest Korean populations in the nation, where we aim to educate on Korean culture and concepts, as well as build community around skincare and wellness!
